Unending

I no longer must cling to the earth
I simply jump into this private ocean
Unknown to the whole world
It’s tide, gentle and honest
Returns me to the shore
My eyes like small projectors
Had once proclaimed troubles
But these are washed away now
And dissolved in the sea foam.

This creature, a vast ocean
With countless inhabitants
Trusts me with secrets
Stored carefully in wine bottles
Which, on occasion, wash up beside me
Burying them in my sands,
I am sent a warm breeze
Followed by unending waves of amber.
